Who runs Andesite, how to reach us, and what this website does and doesn't collect.
Who runs it
Run by LeaveTheCannoli
Andesite SMP is an independent Minecraft server. It isn't connected to Mojang or Microsoft.
Getting in touch
The Discord is the quickest way to reach us. If you'd rather not use Discord, or can't, email us instead:
This website
This site sets no cookies.
It doesn't load anything from other companies: no outside fonts, scripts, videos or maps.
Visits are counted by Umami, which we run ourselves, through this site's own address. It notes the page, the site you came from, and your browser, device and rough location, and how quickly the page loaded and responded. It doesn't keep your IP address or use cookies.
It also counts taps on the Apply button (and where on the page it was), on links that leave this site, and on Copy beside the invite.
For some visits, picked at random, Umami also records how the page was used: where people tap, how far they scroll, and a replay of the pointer moving and the pages opened. Nothing in it says who you are. The map page is never recorded, and recordings are deleted within 90 days.
If your browser asks sites not to track you, you aren't counted or recorded at all.
There are no forms, no accounts and nothing to sign up for.
The map and the leaderboards
The live map on this site shows the world, claims with their owner's in-game name, and players who are online, where they are, under their in-game name. Crouch in game and you drop off the map until you stand up.
The leaderboards and the members page show in-game names, your skin, the day you joined and last played, totals from the game's own stats, what your shop sells and how much land you've claimed. They update every five minutes. If you vote for Andesite on a server list and give your Minecraft name there, those votes count towards the supporters boards. The members page also shows who is playing right now, and the map page lists what each shop sells. If you'd rather not be on them, tell a moderator in the Discord and you'll be off them by the next update.
Discord
Tapping Apply on Discord takes you to Discord. From there, Discord's own privacy policy applies.
The game server
The game server keeps its own logs. What they record is on the Rules page.
Pictures of your build
Every screenshot on this site is shared with the OK of whoever took it and anyone recognisable in it.
If a picture of your build is here and you'd like it taken down, tell us in the Discord or by email. It comes down. You don't need to give a reason.
